Ecuador Climate

Our Itinery

Are you ready to embark on a journey that will transport you from the ordinary to the extraordinary? Your adventure begins not in the distant Galapagos but in the captivating high altitudes of Quito. Here, history whispers through the colonial architecture, and as you wander these streets, you’ll acclimatize to Ecuador’s elevation and vibrant spirit. Nestled in the heart of the Andes, Quito offers a unique opportunity to prepare your body and mind for the incredible journey ahead.

The next morning, your true expedition begins as you bid farewell to the mainland and set your course for the enigmatic Galapagos Islands—the anticipation mounts as your plane descends into Baltra, a gateway to a world unlike any other. Stepping off the plane, you’re greeted by the salty sea breeze and the endless blue of the ocean—a stark contrast to the mountainous vistas of Quito. The boat ride to Santa Cruz is your first taste of the island life that defines the Galapagos, with every wave hinting at the wonders that await beneath the surface.

Upon arrival at Santa Cruz, your bond with nature deepens as you visit Hacienda Las Tortugas. Here, you encounter the iconic Galapagos tortoises, ancient and majestic creatures ambling through their natural habitat. This meeting is not just an introduction to the island’s wildlife but a profound lesson in the rhythm and resilience of nature. These gentle giants, thriving under dedicated conservation efforts, embody the islands’ pristine beauty and the urgent need to protect such unique ecosystems.

With each new dawn, the islands reveal more of their secrets. The pristine shores of Tortuga Bay welcome you with open arms, offering a playground of sand and surf that is both breathtaking and humbling. Here, you can snorkel in crystal-clear waters, share the beach with marine iguanas, or soak in the sun, surrounded by nature’s unspoiled grandeur. The days are rich with exploration and discovery, each activity carefully crafted to forge a lasting bond between you and this magical archipelago.
